Learn a Little About Us:

We currently reside in Colorado Springs, CO but will be transitioning to Phnom Penh, Cambodia to invest our lives into fulltime missions.  It's such a privilege to finally move this direction and it's been a vision we've both had for some time now.

About Jacob: First, adventure - Jacob has a passion for life, always looking for the next challenge.  Currently, he works at Compassion International in the Information Technology division. Compassion is a non-profit ministry that works to release children from poverty in places where poverty is a lifestyle and AIDS is an epidemic.  Compassion spans the globe with projects in 26 countries.  Partnering with the local church, they have a holistic approach to ensure all needs of the child are met.  You can learn more about Compassion or how to sponsor a child at http://www.compassion.com. Jacob loves the outdoors and hates mice.  His favorite season is summer when he spends as much time as possible on the bike and in the sun.  He loves doing anything and everything with his beautiful wife, Noelle, drinking coffee, editing photos and hanging out with close friends and family.

About Noelle: First, nurturing - Noelle tries to lovingly care for everything that comes across her path whether that is a family member, MILL girl, close friend, or the deer that currently live in our yard. She is the Women’s Pastor for theMILL, which means she spends a good portion of her time talking with amazing women and drinking tea lattes. Noelle loves anything Colorado – hiking, camping, crisp fall days, and trail running. She is a graduate from Wheaton College with a degree in Psychology and Literature, making one of her favorite pastimes discussing books and how they impact our lives. Noelle also has a Masters in Community Counseling from the University of Colorado. Her desire is to encourage women to love God with their whole lives, hunger for His Word and live confidently in the unique gifts and strengths He has given them. 

Noelle loves fresh flowers, Eugene Peterson (in a purely author-crush way), laughter and reading fiction first thing in the morning. Her favorite season is fall, largely due to wearing sweaters without coats and theMILL fall retreat. Her absolute favorite thing is being Jacob's wife. He made her life the best it's ever been when he became her husband.

Come February 2010, we will be making our way to Cambodia.  We hope this blog will be a place where you will be able to connect with us, get updates on our lives and what we are doing in Cambodia.
