During our engagement, Noelle and I began to consider moving overseas to share the truth and love of Jesus with others. God led us to Cambodia and a people who, through ravaged by war and heartache, still hunger for hope. Isaiah 61 says, "The Spririt of the Lord is on me...to preach good news to the poor...to bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners..." God's love for the poor, hurting and bound compels us to go.
As part of our transition to Cambodia, we are investing our time and resources to prepare for our move. We are moving March 3, 2010 to hit the ground running. Once there, we will be working with Eric & Ginny Hanson and In His Steps International - an organization committed to restoring and equipping the Cambodian people.

Partner in Prayer:
We are increasingly aware of our need for prayer support as we head to a country rooted in Buddhism and animism. If you are interested in being part of a small team of intercessors who will commit to pray for us on a daily basis, please fill out the form to the right.
Specifically, here are a couple of areas we request prayer.
- Wisdom - We believe that how you end one season is a huge determining factor in how the next begins. We need wisdom as we enter a season of transition.
- Unity - If you've met us, you know that Jacob and I are quite different! With many decisions before us -- time management, where to invest ourselves, how to deepen friendships and our marriage, an so on -- we want continued unity in our priorities.
Partner in Giving:
Starting in February, 2010 we will be living fully on support. There are two key ways you can give. The first is giving to our launch/emergency fund for getting settled and handling unexpected finances. The second is giving to our monthly support which covers our daily living expenses and ministry money.
We still need help in both areas, particular in monthly pledges (we are halfway to our goal). We hope you will consider partnering with us in this way -- even $20/month makes a difference.
