Rachel & Jordan

We were blessed to have such a beautiful day this past Jan 2nd to shoot Jordan and Rachel's wedding. Wedding photos at the Broadmoor and a beautiful ceremony and reception at New Life Church, this wedding was a perfect way to wrap things up. This wedding was our last. Well, as far as we know, it was our last.  Maybe we will do a few Cambodian weddings in the future, which is a serious affair.  A Cambodian wedding is a multi-day event with lots of food, tradition and photos.  I remeber when we visited Cambodia last December and looked through someone's album.  Oh my, it took forever to get through the mounds of photos in the beautifully decorted album.  It's so interesting to watch a wedding literally take over a neighborhood for a week.

Like to dance? Be prepared...there is lots of dancing at Cambodian weddings too.

Enjoy!

Family is My Absolute Favorite to Photograph

We love doing photos for family...especially Brett, Jenni & Maya.  This was our second session with them and absolutely loved it!  We decided to head out and face the weather one Sunday and found ourselves at the Broadmoor.  Of course, you couldn't ask for a better location especially while it's snowing.

Anyways, these photos are sweet, and I know you'll enjoy them.

Josie

Ever since my Dad moved back from Washington, he's wanted a dog, so the kids pooled their pennies together and bought him one from the Human Society.  Thanks to Brett and Jenni, this little jewel was rescued.

Josie has to be 98% Lab and is a little over 1.5yrs old.  She's a doll!

Here are a few things she loves:

  1. Licking door frames, then biting them.
  2. Sleeping on my Dad's lap in his big chair.
  3. Going to the bathroom in the house.  I guess that's what puppies do.
  4. Playing in the snow.
  5. And surprisingly, she loves to sleep in her kennel.

Anyways, she was extra calm this morning, so I snapped a few photos.

Wedding in the Woods

Set back in Black Forest is The Pinery - a beautiful place for a wedding.  Just before it got super cold, Noelle and I were able to capture this beautiful wedding.  Chris and Danielle are a wonderful couple and were amazing in the front of the camera.  I'm sure you will enjoy!

The Hanson & Weaver Family

Eric & Ginny Hanson are our good friends living in Cambodia.  In fact, they head up In His Steps International and we will be working alongside them in March when we move!!  Their daughter, Erika, and her husband, son and mother-in-law were the central part of the shoot. They are such a fun family -- full of love and laughter. And we appreciated their willingness to brave a chilly day in Old Colorado City. Hope you enjoy...
