Good friends, James and Sara Martin asked us to shoot some photos, so we hung out downtown Manitou Springs one afternoon and found out real quick about Mardi Gras, Manitou style.  If you know Manitou, it has it's own unique style of weirdness, so when you combine an already strange holiday with Manitou...well, use your imagination.  After a yummy lunch at Adam's Mountain Cafe and plenty of laughing at random costumes from a tweetie bird to a woman dressed in renaissance, we braved the crowds and captured these wonderful photographs.

Soon, the Martins will be adding a third addition to their family - how exciting!
